What's Available Now

Email forwarding is currently free and running in beta mode. You can create email aliases on the crypton.is domain that will forward emails directly to your inbox. This is perfect for:

  • Creating disposable email addresses for sign-ups
  • Organizing emails by purpose (e.g., [email protected], [email protected])
  • Protecting your main email address from spam
  • Managing multiple email addresses without managing multiple inboxes

Current Limitations

Since we're in beta, there are a few limitations to be aware of:

  • Single domain: Currently only crypton.is is available
  • Beta status: You may experience occasional issues with email delivery or display
  • One domain per user: For now, all aliases must use the crypton.is domain (with 10 aliases per user limit)

What's Coming Next

We have big plans for email forwarding! Here's what we're working on:

  1. More domains: We'll be adding additional domains for you to choose from
  2. Custom domains: You'll be able to use your own domains for email forwarding
  3. Enhanced features: Based on your feedback, we'll continue to improve and expand the service

Open Source Plans

For those interested in the technical side, we're planning to open source our custom SMTP server in the future. This will allow the community to contribute, improve, and learn from our implementation. Stay tuned for more details on that!
